Latest Movie :

Mean Motherfucking Servant of God...

"I'm a mean motherfucking servant of God." Harvey Keitel, From Dusk Til Dawn, as the priest.

Forgot what an excellent movie that is. I saw it again last night.

Here's another one.

"I might be a bastard, but I'm not a fucking bastard." George Clooney.

Why do we have the notion that holy (wo)men can't swear? It's ridiculous, isn't it? My Master is one of the holiest people I have ever had the honour to know, and he says 'motherfucker' quite frequently.

From an email I got this morning from him.

"You are my beautiful devotee that I would do anything for. May we get drunk and stoned some more!

Your Beloved"

That's the kind of Master I want. Not some stuffy righteous po-faced lifeless celibate saint afraid of living in this world.

In the various traditions, they are bountiful. Masters like the Tibetan Master Drukpa Kunley, who swore, pissed on 'sacred' documents, frequently got drunk, got his mother to ask him to fuck her, then refused her, his list of saintly doings is remarkable.

Mullah Nasrudin from the Sufi tradition also was a rascal who upset just about everybody who came across him! He was no gentleman.

Why? Holy (Wo)Men are free of our societal moral codes, which are mostly based on fear and social control, and have nothing to do with God, Liberation, or Happiness.

Da Free John once said so perfectly that 'no humorless, pleasureless son of a bitch ever realized God'. There is a man with some deep wisdom. He also wrote what is very possibly the best book ever on human sexuality, Love of the Two-Armed Form. I think it's out of print, but Amazon might have a copy. Grab it if it's there. He also had a large collection of porn.

There have been many apparently crazy saints and sages, including people that have chopped live cats in half, sat on piles of human excrement, liked little boys in the wrong kind of way, cross dressed, done jail time, defied the authorities, smoked weed, had a heroine addiction, and publicly disowned and humiliated their own mothers. (Think about that last one.)

And we, so indignant. And so hypocritical.
Tell me, who's happy? Only the one that is ultimately free to be themselves. God is here in over 6 billion different forms. And that's just as a human.

There has always been a deep respect and recognition of these special Beings, the Masters, Saints, Sages, Yogis, Siddhas, Mystics, Gurus, and it's really only in the West that we have lost this knowledge and appreciation of these remarkable (wo)men. I say we reclaim it and celebrate them.
