As K pointed out after reading the end of my post below, I need a good spanking for the arrogance of assuming that all the bad shit that happened this summer was all my fault. Other people are players in what happened, and it's not all on me somehow to take all the blame. A did what he did, R did what she did, Husband did what he did, all of their own volition, and it's not all about me, my fault. There were other adults involved, that played their own parts in it all. A chose to play with my emotions and then run away. Husband chose to play his part in it, etc.
K, we should all have a friend like you, thank you. So very much. Wise words, indeed. I am always too willing to take all the blame sometimes when life fucks up. It is indeed an arrogant thing to do.
And I would tell anybody else the same thing. It's not always so easy to apply it to yourself sometimes, is it?
