Speedo Santas were on the run!

I wasn't able to be there for this year's Santa Speedo Run, but fellow blogger BosGuy was there and made a video and posted this on his site. Maybe next year I'll finally get to see this in person! Enjoy!

Santa Speedo Run!

Next month Boston is having their 2012 Santa Speedo Run!

The Run is limited to 500 people, and apparently they already have that many people signed up! Hey, maybe I can try for next year!
Here's where I heard about the run, and there's also a short video from last year's run: BosGuy (November 8, 2012).

Ho, Ho, Ho!

Independence Day Celebration

Happy Independence Day!

We're spending the day with my parents. They have a barbecue planned and we're going to relax in (and by) the pool. Plus, I get to wear my brand new dark blue Speedo (with a white racing stripe)!

How are you celebrating the holiday?
(If you're not in the U.S., how do you celebrate a similar type day in your country?)

A Speedo Summer!

Our friend Thorny sent me a Happy Birthday greeting this past week. He's always on the lookout for me of pics of guys in Speedos. He jokingly said these guys heard it's was my birthday and were very excited for me! I need to get my magnifying glass and see if I can tell how excited they truly are! LOL!

And here's a vid I found for your viewing pleasure. They're not exactly Speedos, but still....

Chicks and Dicks and a Uniform Fix

Since this is Final Exam Week here in The Wacky World of Matt and Brad, we're going to be posting some things that don't require a lot of time on our part.

We've been trying to keep our brains from freezing up with all the studying we've done and we're happy to report that we've done a pretty good job of making sure we balanced all that with some fun time.

So today is Day One of exams. And while we're in class sweating our sweet little butts off trying to prove we've been paying attention and have taken the course work seriously, we want to direct your attention to one of our favorite blogs.

This month over at Chicks & Dicks, the theme is Men in Uniform. Edmond Manning started the month off with a post he called Sir, Yes, Sir! Well, that title certainly made us sit up and pay attention! He explained the month's theme this way:
"For all of May, come here to get your uniform fetish fix. I have it on good authority we'll be seeing a few explorations of cop uniforms, martial arts, and fire fighters. Oh, and futuristic military uniforms too, so you can feel confident there will be men to lust after in the future."
He was going through all the different uniforms men wear that many times cause a stirring in the nether regions, and I have to say Edmond now has a special place in my heart since he officially recognized one of my favorite "uniforms." Here's what he said:
"And swimmers in those tight, tight Speedos…that still counts as a uniform, right?"
If you know anything about me, you know I love, love, love men in Speedos. I wrote something about this about a year ago, and this is what I said:

"I practically grew up in Speedos. My parents said I took to water like a fish right after I was born. They said when I turned two years old and they would take me swimming I would have these huge temper tantrums when I took my clothes off and they tried to put on my swim suit. They said I would yell something like, 'But I'm a fish! I'm a fish!' And you can bet no amount of reasoning or threats would make me willingly agree to wear anything. They finally bought me one of those Speedos for little kids (probably had maybe 5 square inches of material). When they showed it to me, they said I lit up and just said, 'Okay'."

So, thank you, Edmond, for recognizing the Speedo as an official uniform!

And without further ado, while our little butts are warming the seats in the classroom, send your butts over to Chicks & Dicks and get your own Uniform Fix. After this week is over, you might find me at the beach in my Official Speedo Uniform.

Sexy Speedos and Underwear

I haven't shared anything recently from my collection of guys in Speedos or Speedo-type underwear. So, I thought I'd put up some pics I like and a vid.

Even though I like Winter a lot, especially when it snows, after a while I start getting tired of how long it takes to put on all those layers of clothes just to go outside. Then you have to gear-up with a thick coat, a scarf around your neck, heavy boots that get traction with the snow and ice on the ground, and a thick hat or cap on top! It's exhausting just thinking about it!

Bring on warmer weather and less clothes! I'm ready to see more flesh out there!

Catching Some Rays

Man, oh man! Summer's going by so fast! Brad and I are headed to the beach for a little R & R before everything starts getting crazy around here!

I've got to buy some new clothes before school starts, which I totally hate doing (shopping, that is!). Thankfully, Brad is in his element when he's in a favorite clothing store with plastic in his hand. He goes into what I've been calling his "Double B" mood: "Bossy Brad." I mean the boy really, really sees shopping as his Mission from God! "Here Matt, go try these on and come out so I can see." "Turn around, Matt."  "Nope. Won't do. Go try these on." And on, and on, and on it goes.

When it's all over, I'm so worn out that the only thing I'm thinking about is a little lovin'. Then it's my time for a little "bossing": "Come here Brad. Lay down next to me." "Mmmmmmm, take your shirt off." And on, and on, and on it goes.

But today, we're headed to the beach! The weather's perfect the whole weekend and I gotta check out any new styles in Speedos! I tell Brad this is my idea of "shopping."

So, in celebration of me getting to do my kind of "shopping," here's a sample of some things I'm loking for (Thanks to Thorny for sending me the one on the far left):

Brad in a Speedo!

No, that is NOT a pic of me in a Speedo! It's this really well-build guy who is modeling the style I decided to get after Matt finally wore me down and convinced me to get one!

I'm still amazed he was able to convince me to buy one to wear for my family's Fourth of July party yesterday.

So, how'd he do it? Well, he threatened to never have sex with me again if I didn't get one!! -- I knew he was totally kidding (I hoped) but I finally gave in after I gave him a private viewing when we got home after buying the darn thing. The thing actually cost about $45 for maybe 5 square inches of cloth that just barely covered my ass and dick!

Seriously, he convinced me to get it by saying all the right things to make me feel like I was the sexiest thing alive! Hearing all those compliments, and seeing the evidence in his pants, was the easy part. But getting me to wear the darn thing in front of my entire family -- including my parents, some aunts, uncles and cousins was the real challenge.

He had already talked to my sister who agreed to do some undercover investigative work. I have a cousin who is 22 and he use to be on his college swim team and the only thing they wear in competitive swimming is those itsy-bitsy things. My sister told Matt my cousin was planning on being at the party and agreed to wear his. So it would be Matt, my cousin and me wearing those things.

So, what can I say? It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My worst fear was that I'd get a hard-on in front of everybody and would have to spend the entire party in the pool! Well, being as self-conscious as I was, having sex-thoughts was the last thing my mind was interested in creating!

Matt had told me that wearing a black one did the best job of not highlighting the "merchandise," so that's what I wore. Matt wore his back one with this really hot slanting red bar on the side and my cousin wore a red wine colored one.

Well, we all got some good-natured whistles and applause when we made our appearance, but I just tried to act as nonchalant as possible -- like it was something I did every day of my life. In my mind I was reciting the multiplication table to keep my thoughts focused!

I still don't think I have the body type you need to wear one, the kind all those models have in the catalogues. But, Matt was pleased and after a while I sorta relaxed into it. Well, I can now mark up this experience in my "Things I've Never Done Before" list.

So, we're planning to go the the beach next weekend and I'm actually thinking about wearing it there. Who would've known! Matt really is a Wonder of Wonders!

Summer Work Party, a Swimsuit & a Prize

I think everybody knows I work at this construction company that also does home refurbishing. Or, if you're new to the blog, well, that's what I do.

I've been working there since graduating from high school and in addition to making some pretty good money, I've also learned a lot of new skills that really interest me. It's been a lot of fun to learn how to make different things like custom-made kitchen cabinets, tables, chairs, bookcases, etc. We also do stuff like knocking down walls to change the size or appearance of rooms, putting in new windows, doors, etc. I'm not one of those "construction workers" you see doing all kinds of outdoor work with hard hats, hard bodies and showing ass cracks when they bend over!

The guy who is the boss of the home refurbishing unit (which I'm a part of) is a really cool guy. He just turned 62 and is the kind of guy I'd be proud to have as a grandfather or uncle. He's not your typical "macho" cave man construction type, but is actually a really sweet, kind and gentle type of man. Everybody loves him. I mean, he's definitely the boss and you can't walk all over him. When he tells you to do something, you never, ever argue with him. And he definitely will not put up with anybody slacking off. I've seen him angry twice, and he never looses control or is mean, but you definitely know he means business. He's kind of taken me under his wings but he also expects a lot from me.

After I had been working there about a month, I gradually began coming out as gay to everybody. I never made any big announcement but just started working it into the conversation whenever the guys would talk about their girlfriends or wives, or talk about when they did over the weekend. I got a lot of stares at first, and sometimes there was this "loud silence" when I referred to Brad, but nobody ever hassled me or treated me unfairly.

It's pretty obvious that one guy doesn't like me, and I don't think it has anything to do with any problems we've had on the job. He's probably the most conservative guy there and is always spouting these ridiculous political opinions that often aren't based in any kind of rationality. I guess it would be safe to say that most of the guys working in my unit are more on the conservative side, or at least right of center. But I think I've earned the respect of everybody and I get treated as just one of the guys. I get a lot of ribbing because of my age (I'm the youngest one there), but it's all done in a playful way and I actually enjoy the attention because I feel like I fit in pretty well.

Well, every summer our boss has this huge cookout at his home where he invites everybody and you can bring one guest, usually your spouse or your girlfriend. Unfortunately, my unit doesn't have any women workers like the other two home refurbishing units do, so it's always assumed that the guest will be a wife or girlfriend. So, this year, guess what? They added a new category. You could bring your spouse, your girlfriend or your boyfriend!

So, another "first" can be added to mine and Brad's life! And guess what? We had a ball! Only one problem, though. The boss has this really big house with a huge swimming pool in the backyard. So far, so good. I love pools and swimming, but made a decision to buy a new swim suit.

I have a drawer full of Speedos, and that's all I've ever worn when I go swimming. I sorta chickened out though and decided not to push the envelope with this crew. I knew I would be going out of my comfort zone since I would not know half the people coming (spouses and girlfriends). So, I decided to get one of those "regular," "boring," "HUGE," pieces of cloth commonly known as your "traditional swim suit." Shopping for it was very painful (I know it was painful for Brad having to put up with my bad mood looking at all these things I really didn't want to buy).

I felt like I was buying something that was meant to help me "fit in" and was not really something that reflects my style or taste. But, I figured, one step at a time. Maybe next year, if I'm still there.

We did have a good time, though. I was determined not to be in a bad mood wearing this new "thing" called a "swim suit." When I jumped in the pool, I felt like it was going to absorb all the water in the pool and make me drown (okay, so I can be a little drama queen sometimes!). Well, I didn't drown, but I did feel like I was wearing a formal suit, like a coat and tie, long pants and shoes. Totally weird feeling!

AND, I won a prize! The boss always has a drawing for three prizes that add to the excitement of the party and they definitely add to increasing our morale. First prize was a week-long trip to the Virgin Islands. Second prize was an all-expense paid weekend at one of the 4-star hotels in Boston, and third prize was a gift-card for $100.00 and twenty free movie passes.

Well, Brad and I are not going to the Virgin Islands. We're not going to a 4-star hotel. But, we are getting $100.00 and tickets to 10 movies!

I'm gonna see if I can return the "thing" called a "regular swimsuit" and get my money back -- but I think it's in that category of "nonreturnables", like underwear, so I'm probably stuck with it. But, I might use the money to get me a new Speedo and, if I can twist his arm, get one for Brad. Brad says, "We'll see about that."

Anyway, it was a lot of fun to go with Brad. Just one more "first" we can add to our list. A growing list, I might add!

Can't Resist Those Speedo Boys!

Speedo Boys & What They're Thinking

Okay, everybody. Now for a brief (no pun intended) break to have a little fun.

So, what do you think the two cuties are thinking? We'll call them "Reacher" (as in reaching for the merchandise) and "Watching" (with the ball in hand)?

Speedos & How I Almost Became a Nudist

Most people who know me are aware that I LOVE Speedos, you know, those itsy-bitsy swim suits. Or rather I should say, I LOVE  the guys who wear them! Well, that's not what I meant to say. I mean I LOVE how the guys look who wear Speedos. Brad is the only guy I love!!

I can't wait for Summer to get here. I practically grew up in Speedos. My parents said I took to water like a fish right after I was born. They said when I turned two years old and they would take me swimming I would have these huge temper tantrums when I took my clothes off and they tried to put on my swim suit. They said I would yell something like, "But I'm a fish! I'm a fish!" And you can bet no amount of reasoning or threats would make me willingly agree to wear anything.

They finally bought me one of those Speedos for little kids (probably had maybe 5 square inches of material). When they showed it to me, they said I lit up and just said, "Okay." They think I liked 'em because they were brightly colored. In my fantasy I like to think that maybe I saw this really hot guy at the pool wearing Speedos and wanted to be just like him! Well, I've been wearing 'em ever since.

So, all through elementary school, middle school and high school, when I would go swimming, that's all you would ever find me in. I got into competative swimming during middle school and high school, and, of course, Speedos were what you wore.

I'm thinking that if my parents hadn't bought me those brightly colored Speedos when I was two years old, maybe I'd still think I was a fish and would have become a total nudist!

I'm still trying to get Brad to buy one, but so far I haven't been able to convince him. I think he would look sexy, but I'm not gonna push it, of course. After all, it really doesn't matter 'cause he looks sexy in whatever he wears (or, uh, doesn't wear!).
