Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

We're busy making a few resolutions for the new year. We're also going back to review the resolutions we made last year to see how we did.

How about you? Do you make resolutions for the new year? Any you want to share for this coming year? We'll be sharing ours later this week!

Merry Christmas

From our home to yours, Merry Christmas!

Whatever holiday tradition you celebrate,
we wish you joy and peace for the coming year!

Do you have a special holiday tradition?

The two of us were talking about creating some holiday traditions we might want to make part of our annual celebration. We wondered if everyone would be willing to share a holiday tradition you celebrate. Maybe it's a special routine you observe for Christmas Eve or Day.

Or maybe it's something like going caroling or gathering everybody together to read a holiday story. Or maybe it's how you volunteer your time for some worthwhile charity or organization.

Or it might even be going out to buy a Christmas tree and decorating it and adding a new and special ornament each year.

It might even be something a little "nontraditional" but has some meaning to you during this holiday season because of something special that happened in the past.

Whatever it is, we thought it might be fun to hear about what you do. You can just describe the tradition, or you might like to share a little of the story behind your tradition.

Speedo Santas were on the run!

I wasn't able to be there for this year's Santa Speedo Run, but fellow blogger BosGuy was there and made a video and posted this on his site. Maybe next year I'll finally get to see this in person! Enjoy!

A little holiday cheer!

Sock it to Me, Santa! by Madison Parker

We haven't done many book reviews, but every now and then we come across a book we fall in love with and keep thinking about over and over.

In the interest of complete disclosure, I was one of the beta readers before Madison released this wonderful short story. When she sent me the manuscript I read it through and wondered, Why does she need a beta reader? I don't see anything I can suggest to make this any better.

But I did make one suggestion and she worked with it and made a change in something! Can you believe that? So naturally this is now my NUMBER ONE favorite story of all time and will remain so for all eternity!! LOL!!

Blurb:
Ryan is assigned to Jamie Peterson for his class's secret gift exchange. If word gets out that he has to make a handcrafted gift for flamboyant and openly gay Jamie, Ryan will be the laughing stock of the school. It's a good thing no self-respecting boy would be caught dead in a craft store, because otherwise he'd be at risk of being spotted when his mom drags him to her weekly craft workshops. He hopes Jamie will appreciate all the trouble he's going to for this assignment. Finding the perfect gift is gonna be tricky. Jamie deserves something good, though, after all the crap he has to put up with at school. At least, Ryan tells himself that's the reason he's putting so much thought into the gift. It couldn't be that he has feelings for Jamie, could it?

There is so much to love about this story, which falls in the Young Adult category. But if you think ONLY young people would enjoy this story, you're very mistaken. All you need to appreciate this story is a heart. And even if your heart is somewhat closed, after you read this story you'll find it a little more open than before.

This is a story we're planning to give to Jake (our high school next-door-neighbor) and his boyfriend, Brady. I can't wait to hear what they think of it.

BUT, this is a story we plan to give as a gift to our adult friends also. It recalls some things everybody who has been to high school can relate to. How do I fit in with other people my age? If I befriend this certain kid, is that going to damage my image as one of the "cool kids"?

What's more important to me? Doing the right thing, or maintaining my carefully cultivated image as "one of the in-crowd"? And what the hell do I do when I think I might want to be boyfriends with this emo-type, flamboyant kid? Does that mean I might be gay?

And why am I attracted to this "certain kid," who only has girls for friends, and, get this, LOVES TO KNIT? What does all this mean?

Well, I won't give anything away, but the resolution of these dilemmas is not exactly smooth sailing. The author does a really good job of getting into the heads of both these boys and their personalities and character. She has either spent a lot of time observing boys this age, or she's really a teenage boy masquerading as an adult! LOL! This story is like those wonderful Christmas bells you hear -- the ones that have a beautiful tone and ring true!

     =========================================================

Madison has graciously offered a giveaway of her story to one lucky commenter. Just leave a comment along with your email addy and we'll be announcing the winner this Friday.

     =========================================================

Even if you've already read the story, it would make a wonderful gift! Here's a direct link to Madison's site: Sock it to Me, Santa!.

If you've already read this story, feel free to let us know what you thought. Just remember, no spoilers, please. Thanks!

Oh, oh, oh... Matty made me mention something about Madison's upcoming debut novel (Play Me, I'm Yours) because one of the characters is reportedly a "speedo-sporting stud"!! Matty is also hoping this book is illustrated! It's scheduled to be released in April 2013, but Matty says that's not fast enough and Madison should bribe the publishers to move it up -- to tomorrow, please! LOL!
Now I need to learn a little more about knitting a sock monkey! I want one so bad!! I've never knitted before, but this story made me want to! ;)

Happy Gobble, Gobble Day!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Both of us will be spending time with family and friends today. First it's off to Matt's family and then time with Brad's family.

Our contribution to the meals we'll be enjoying today will be Brad's delicious home-baked pumpkin and apple pies! Yummy!

Matt's contribution will be, well, himself enjoying the company of family and friends and, of course, savouring those pies!

Once we get back home from the family visits, we've invited four of our friends to spend the evening with us for some fun movies, good conversation, and a little Thanksgiving Dessert Celebration. Brad made some special pastries for the six of us and we'll be brewing a special Thanksgiving coffee, which is described as a "heavy-bodied blend with notes of milk chocolate and a hint of cinnamon." What a nice way to end the day, huh?

Before we end this post, we want to use this Thanksgiving holiday to say how thankful we are for each one of you we've been privileged to meet. It's so cool to know we have friends from all over the world who take the time to share in our journey, give us helpful things to think about when we're going through rough stretches, cheer us on when we do things we're proud of, and to laugh with us over some of the humorous things we find ourselves in. Each of you are very special and it means a lot when you share a little of yourselves with us!

If you're traveling over the holiday, please be safe. Take care!

Big Hugs from The Gobble, Gobble Boys!

We made it to Halloween!

Well, there's a possibility of some sprinkles later but is that going to stop the Werewolf and Zombie from going to Salem tonight? No way!

They're running extra commuter trains from Boston to Salem and we are so psyched!

The fireworks finale happens at 10:15 PM and the final trains back to Boston happen after that!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Halloween in Witch City

This year we're doing something a little different for Halloween.

They're having all kinds of celebrations in Salem (site of those witch trials back in 1692) which is north of Boston.

Matty did some research and found they have something called The Festival of the Dead. And they even had a Vampires' Masquerade Apocalypse Ball last week, which sounded like a fun thing. But almost everything they have costs more than we want to pay.

So instead of paying lots of money for more upscale partying, we're going Trick or Treating in Salem! Supposedly tons of people converge on Salem since it has the history it does. They're unofficial nickname is actually The Witch City.

I'm dressing up this year as a werewolf and Matty is going to be a zombie, which is his latest undead fascination.

One of the things that's going to make visiting there fun is going with two other couples, Matty's younger brother and his girlfriend, and our next-door-neighbor Jake and his boyfriend, Brady.

We weren't sure if Jake and Brady would get into the whole costume thing since they didn't seem all that keen on dressing up at first. We just figured it was because they're still in high school and had something to do with the whole "cool" thing. You know, I'm waaay too cool to dress up in a costume that a mere child would wear. LOL!

But we found out later their hesitancy was far more interesting and cute that that. Neither one of them wanted to be the first to decide their costume because they wanted the other to choose first so they could then wear something that would be matching! ;-)

They still haven't told us what they're going as since they wanted it to be a surprise. We know Brady is extremely interested in horses and they've both been riding together a lot, so maybe they're going as cowboys or something. It'll be fun to see them on Wednesday.

Another cute thing also happened. We were all talking about the plans and Matty's brother's girlfriend all of a sudden said, "I just realized I'm going to be the only girl in this group."

All five of us guys just stopped talking and turned to stare at her, waiting to see what else she was going to say. She kept staring back at us like her meaning was the most obvious thing in the world. When none of us said a word she just smiled and said, "I'm not use to being the only girl in a group of guys." We all sorta tilted our heads waiting for more because it still wasn't clear what her point was.

Well, she must have done some quick thinking because we all got a huge laugh out of what she said next. See, her name is Kate and she just smiled and said she might go as Kate Middleton, as in Princess Kate and Prince William of UK fame. And she told us if she was going to be the only girl, we could all be her royal butlers or servants.

Anyway, I'm sure we're going to have a good time -- or a Royal time!

Oh, oh... Remember that project I have to do in my political science class I mentioned in the last post? I found this pic and I think I'm going to carve this design and see if I can't get a few extra credit points!

Independence Day Celebration

Happy Independence Day!

We're spending the day with my parents. They have a barbecue planned and we're going to relax in (and by) the pool. Plus, I get to wear my brand new dark blue Speedo (with a white racing stripe)!

How are you celebrating the holiday?
(If you're not in the U.S., how do you celebrate a similar type day in your country?)

Happy Patriots' Day

Yippee! We have a state holiday today known as Patriots' Day. I thought Massachusetts was the only state in the country celebrating it, but it looks like a few other places shut things down for the day.

Two big things are happening here today:

1. NO SCHOOL!

We don't live too far from one of the roads where the runners will pass by, so we plan to walk over and cheer them on. It's always thrilling to see the very first participants. Those who use wheelchairs get to start a little ahead of the foot runners, and when they come by the crowd goes wild! It's so exciting to see them and to get caught up in all the energy.

My aunt and uncle qualified to run again this year. My aunt had breast cancer about three years ago (she's doing great, BTW) and she and my uncle run as part of a breast cancer organization.

They're forecasting unusually high temperatures today, which can make running the distance dangerous. It's suppose to get as high as 87 to 90 degrees F, and they're advising only runners who are in peak shape to participate. The usual temperature in past years is between 50 and 65 degrees. The race organizers are actually predicting mass health casualties and they said if people drop out or decide not to run because of the dangerous heat, they will automatically qualify to run in the Marathon next year. My aunt and uncle are planning (wisely) to run between 8 and 10 miles and drop out.

Anyway, sorry most of you don't have the day off for this, but we'll add some extra yells and cheers for you anyway!

Hope everyone has a nice day.

They're Doing What?!

Hi everybody! Just a brief update on how our Spring Break is going, then I'm gonna reiterate the special treat we have in store for tomorrow.

I had originally planned to do a humorous post today on some of the funny (and possibly shocking) things I figured we'd get into this week. I mean, whenever you get the two of us together, we always manage to end up finding ways to get into all kinds of mischief. Bradley says he was never this way until he met me, but I'm not gonna let him blame it all on me! I mean, it takes two to tango, right? Isn't that what they say? So, Bradley, my dear, you've rarely turned down the opportunity to tango with me, right? ;-)

Anyway, this week is turning out to be better than either of us imagined. The weather has been perfect. We had a few sprinkles one morning, but even that was nice. I'm always looking for the opportunity to grab my sweetie's hand and lead him outside for a little slow dancing in the rain.

So, as far as mischief goes, I'll give you a few hints and see if you can figure out what's been happening several times each day.

Yep, that's right. There is actually a real book on "how" to have sex in the woods! You can find it on Amazon, but I figured I didn't want to spend the money on this kind of manual, even though I'm sure it probably has all kinds of good information.

Because of the time of year, we don't even have to worry about bugs biting our butts when we're doing the deed.

"Jim" did tell us there might be some wildlife out there we should be on lookout for. Now that got our attention. I mean, we don't mind the occasional Bambi roaming around, or the occasional bunny rabbit or squirrels.

But what about mountain lions or panthers or cobras or gorillas? "Jim" assured us he's never seen any of those things around here, but, well, once you put an idea in my mind, it's sorta there. Didn't stop us from having a little outdoor fun in the woods, and Bradley did manage to keep my mind off those dangers while we were "enjoying" nature!

So, here are some things I found online that might have influenced my imagination about having fun in the woods.

Oh, and just another reminder
about our Thursday post.
Please, I beg you, don't miss it.
It's highly entertaining and SIZZLING HOT!
It's gonna be talked about

Where in the World Are Matt and Brad?

Hello everybody!

Well, first things first, as they say.

On Saturday we announced there was a "big happening" this week but we didn't say what that "happening" was. We did, however, drop six clues that might point you in the direction of what this "big happening" was.

Okay, first an explanation. I tried to see if I could pull off some "tongue in cheek" humor in my post since I've been in a somewhat silly mood. This has been a tough semester with a full load of classes and my brain has been in overdrive trying to stay focused on my schoolwork. I've been needing some "silly time."

So, back to my "tongue in cheek" humor. According to Wikipedia, this term is defined as, "...a figure of speech to imply that a statement...is humorously intended and it should not be taken at face value."

Where was the "tongue in cheek" humor in my post? Thanks for asking! I've heard if you have to explain your humor, then you're probably not being humorous. Thus, this explanation:

The sentence that was tongue in cheek was, "We wanted the clues to be somewhat subtle, so we're not going to say anything that's going to be be too obvious." Then I gave six clues throughout the post that were not "somewhat subtle" and were "too obvious."

Okay, that last paragraph is making my head spin. I get like that sometimes, but I'm not going to apologize because that's just how my brain works sometimes.

Now, on to solving the "not subtle" and "too obvious" six clues.

The six clues that gave away the "big happening" this week were the six graphic images. The BIG HAPPENING this week is that we're on

Get it? Those six images were "not subtle" and were "too obvious." Okay, so I'm signing up for a Stand Up Comedy course next semester. {Brad is now rolling his eyes as I type this!}

Anyway, we're on Spring Break this week and decided to head out of town for a little R & R. Tomorrow we'll let you guys know where in the world we are, but right now I have to get moving.

See if you can guess where we are. We'll give you a few clues (and these are not tongue in cheek clues, by the way):

  1. We're in the State of Massachusetts.
  2. We're approximately 130 miles from our home (meaning somewhere west of Boston since you'll drop in the Atlantic Ocean if you go east of the city).
  3. There's plenty of space for lots of outdoor lovin'.
Tune in tomorrow for our destination and why we chose it. And on Wednesday, the post title is, "Oh My God, Are They Really Doing That? Have They No Shame?"

Oh, and just another reminder
about our Thursday post.
Please, I beg you, don't miss it.
It's highly entertaining and SIZZLING HOT!
It's gonna be talked about
for generations to come!

Can You Guess What's Happening?

We thought we'd have a little contest this weekend and give out some clues about something really big happening this coming week. Your goal? To guess what this "big happening" is.

We wanted the clues to be somewhat subtle, so we're not going to say anything that's going to be be too obvious. But we also didn't want the clues to be so obscure that we wouldn't have a winner.

If we get feedback in the "comment" section that the clues we're leaving here are too vague or in any way too complicated, we'll come back in the post and make any necessary adjustments. After all, we want this to be fun.

Okay... We recommend you put on your Sherlock Holmes detective hat, or if you squint your eyes, or put on your reading glasses, or maybe get a magnifying glass, you might be able to decipher the clues we're leaving. Again, let us know in the comment section if the clues are too vague or obscure, and we'll change them. Remember, we want this to be fun.

Here's a preview of what we're going to be posting next week. But just remember, read very carefully. You don't want to miss the clues we're leaving for you.

Okay, on Monday we're going to post something on "Where in the World Are Matt and Brad?" We've picked out a destination that means a lot to both of us, but it's not a "typical location" where many college kids go for this "big happening." But it's actually the perfect destination for us, and we'll give you some clues and see if you can guess.
Then on Tuesday, we'll post something on "Here We Are!" and reveal our destination. We'll also explain why we chose to go here instead of some of the typical locations, and fill you in on what's happening.

So let's stop here a moment and rest. We encourage you to go back and reread what we've written so far. At this point, there are already three clues in this post. Like I said, the clues are not glaring at you and you might miss them if you're not looking closely. I just hope the clues are not too vague, but like I said, let us know if they are and we'll make them a little clearer. Just want this to be fun.

Then on Wednesday, we'll be sharing "OMG, Are They Really Doing That?" where we share some of the highlights of this "big happening" up to this point. I'm sure we'll have some interesting stories to share and we hope to include some fun things that are bound to have happened, as well as some unexpected things that are always inevitable when you get the two of us together!

Now for the really BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Since we'll be getting close to St. Patrick's Day, on Thursday we're going to post something SIZZLING HOT for you. We can't even reveal the title of the post because it might be too shocking! We're not talking pictures or videos of hot, sexy, nude men. No! We're talking about something even better than that! Trust me! You're not gonna want to miss the Thursday post. Even if you miss Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, please for God's sake, DO NOT MISS THURSDAY'S POST! If you miss it, I guarantee you'll regret it the rest of your life and tell your grandchildren, "Honeys, your grandmother/grandfather actually missed reading Matt and Brad's famous Thursday post during their "big happening" way back in the year 2012." Your grandchildren will probably gasp in horror that you had the opportunity to read it and for some reason missed it. You don't want to scar your grandchildren for the rest of their lives, do you?

Okay, I guess that's all for now. At this point we hope you've had on your Sherlock Holmes hat while reading this post and have been able to decipher all the clues about what this "big happening" is.
Just so you know, we've dropped a total of six clues, and if you look hard enough, you should be able to catch maybe 30% of them. If you catch 60% of the clues we've left, you get extra points. If you catch ALL six, well, you will be awarded the Sherlock Holmes Genius Medal!

Good luck.... and stay tuned to next week (especially the Thursday post!). I'm not kidding. You're gonna LOVE it!

A Valentine to Remember

We've shared some of Sammy's poetry here (always with her permission, even though she says when she gives it to us, it's a gift and ours to use however we like). If you remember from last week, we thought it would be fun to ask for some ideas about different sexual role plays for after our Valentine's Day date. Sammy posted a short description of her idea (you can see what she wrote on the February 16th post), and then she sat down and expanded on it. What you see here is an incredibly well-written and sizzling hot short story. We wanted to share it with all of you, but be forewarned... have a fan close by so you can cool down or get ready to jump in a cold shower to get your body temperature back to normal! Thank you, Sammy!

A Valentine to Remember
... for Matty and Bradley
by Sammy

Bradley shrugged on his coat and walked toward the main doors of the restaurant. I can’t believe Matt just left me here. How could I have gotten this so wrong? I mean the guy seemed so into me — Jesus, he even left that damn baseball cap of his at home for the night. Although him, naked, wearing nothing but that cap…god, why couldn’t that have been the way this night ended!

Bradley reached down to adjust himself; the zipper of his Tuxedo pants had begun to dig into his rapidly growing erection. The little lacy red thong he had put on earlier in the evening was doing nothing to protect his aching cock. After hours of begging his sister, she had gone and purchased the underwear for him — just so he could surprise Matt tonight.

Matt had confessed just a week before that he often fantasized about seeing Bradley in sexy underwear and Bradley had grabbed onto that with both hands—well, both cheeks, so to speak! Guess I won’t be showing off that little surprise tonight!  Instead here I am going home…alone…in a rented limo.  Damn…just damn!

The limo was sitting idling curbside. With a sigh, Bradley pulled open the back door and bent down to get in the back seat. Huh? The light must be out ... funny it was working fine earlier this evening. Thinking that he should probably tell the driver, Bradley began to turn in his seat, moving to get out of the limo to go up front and speak to the guy when he felt his wrists being grabbed and shoved behind his back.

Quick as lightening, he felt the rope slip around them and cinch tight. What the hell?? Bradley began to struggle trying to pull away from the man who had grabbed him and now had one arm firmly around his waist forcing him up against the intruder’s chest. Suddenly Bradley felt a warm, wet tongue slowly gliding up the side of his neck causing a shiver to run down his spine. Two soft lips wrapped around his earlobe as sharp teeth bit gently into his flesh, causing a moan to escape from Bradley’s mouth.

Bradley felt the hot breath flow down his damp neck as the man spoke, whispering into his ear: "Your mine baby, all mine. There's no sense in struggling. I have you right where I want you and before this night is over you're going to be begging me to never let you go.”

Bradley felt the power of that voice all the way down to his toes. He thought he should open his mouth, scream for help. He needed help, didn’t he? For some reason, Bradley couldn’t shake off the heat of lust that seemed to crowd his thoughts.

He tried once more to open his mouth to speak. He heard a breathy chuckle as the man spoke: “Oh don't bother calling for help. The driver won’t be of any assistance. It just so happens he is on the company payroll. Damn, I must have forgotten to mention that this is a company limo — my company limo.”

And with that, Bradley felt the man’s lips close on the soft flesh right below his ear and begin to caress it with his tongue, sucking and licking, pulling up a mark on his neck. Bradley moaned once more, all thoughts of struggling to escape falling far, far away.

"I watched you all night long. Every time those lips of yours wrapped around that wineglass I imagined them wrapping around my cock, just like this.”  Bradley felt a hand caress his cock, causing his hips to thrust upward against the hot hand as if begging for more. Once again a husky laugh echoed through the cab of the limo.

As the hand continued to caress his traitorous flesh, Bradley felt the hard thrust of the man’s cock against his thigh. Jesus, the man was huge … and hard as nails. “Can you feel what you do to me baby?" The man wrenched Bradley’s face back toward his, taking him in a hard and fast kiss. Pulling back just slightly, Bradley felt the man’s hot tongue slip out and gently lick across his lips causing Bradley’s mouth to open just wide enough for it to slip inside.

As he thrust over and over into Bradley’s mouth, his hand stroked with increasing pressure on Bradley’s cock, up and down, in and out until Bradley felt his eyes roll back in his head as waves of pleasure crashed into him over and over.

With a whimper, Bradley felt the man pull back slightly. His glazed eyes came to rest on the man’s face, only faintly discernible in the darkening gloom of the back seat. The man smiled and his teeth gleamed white as he ran his tongue over them, reminding Bradley of a vampire about to ravish his next victim.

“Do you know what I’m going to do to you when I get you home, pretty boy?”  Bradley shook his head, fighting back yet another whimper. “I’m going to suck that luscious cock of yours until you scream my name over and over again.”

Bradley closed his eyes, unable to stifle the moan that escaped as the image of that hot mouth wrapped around his cock flashed into his mind. Once more a hot wet tongue caressed his neck, gliding slowly up across his chin and pushing against his lips, seeking entrance. Like a wild man, Bradley drew that tongue into his mouth, sucking and pulling while bucking up against the hand that still caressed his hard cock.  Bradley lost all control moaning into the man’s mouth and saying over and over again, “yes, yes, fuck me, oh god, please fuck me”.

As the limo pulled up to the front of Bradley and Matty’s house, Matty chuckled softly one last time and said, “Lover, your wish is my command.  Happy Valentine’s day, baby.” Bradley pulled back and said, “You, me, inside, naked, with just the cap…NOW!” Matty smiled…and obeyed.

"Oh, But It's Never Too Late To Celebrate Love"

Matty and I had a wonderful time on our date Saturday night (belatedly) celebrating Valentine's Day.

The limo Mark and John arranged for us was there on time. The driver came around to open the door for us, but Matty very subtly and politely indicated with a nod of his head that he would open the door for me. The driver then got to do his duty by closing it, once we were both inside. Matty. Always the gentleman!

When we arrived at the hotel, we... or rather, I... was surprised to find a photographer waiting to take our picture as we were getting out! Matty was grinning from ear to ear! I thought it was the paparazzi mistaking us for some celebrities! Matty had gotten his older brother to ask a friend of his (who is a photographer) to take a few pictures of us that night!

After we got seated in the restaurant, the photographer came over and snapped some more photos of us, then we got some more while we were eating, and then a few while we were dancing later! He was never intrusive and it didn't distract from all the love flowing across the table. But can you believe this?

We had an unbelievably delicious dinner and enjoyed some nice dancing at this fancy restaurant with all the other (older than us) people there. We were definitely the youngest diners.

The dance music was mainly on the slow side, and even when they played something fast, it was nothing to work up any kind of sweat over, but it was still a lot of fun anyway. Nothing like slow dancing with the one you love, right?

We were getting a number of friendly stares and nods (we speculated that people thought we must be somebody important since we had that photographer taking our pictures), and one older lady, who looked like she might have been maybe in her seventies, actually got our attention by sending us her sweet smile and a little wave across the room. So sweet.

We went over to say hello to her and her husband and introduce ourselves and when she asked us how old we were, you would have thought we were her favorite grandchildren she hadn't seen in a long time. I even (swear to God) got my cheek pinched!

We chatted with them for just a short while and I told them we were celebrating a late Valentine's Day. The lady sorta tilted her head slightly and grinned and said, "Oh, but it's never too late to celebrate your love."

Two couples actually stopped by our table to say hello. One couple said they enjoyed watching us dance together, and the lady in another couple said we were (in her words), "Just adorable." The man with her had a big smile on his face and they introduced themselves, so there were handshakes all around.

We had a nice time in the limo on the ride home, which we'll tell you more about later. Let's just say for now that on the ride home we went from "just adorable" to something along the lines of "just loving." That ride home just about "blew me" away! {evil grin}

Oh, I almost forgot... then there was some role playing once we got home... We may have mentioned that a few days ago. LOL.

This week we're planning on sharing some of the highlights of Saturday night, and haven't decided yet whether each of us will write sometime from our own perspective, or whether we'll collaborate on something together. Stay tuned!

Today is a holiday in the U.S. (Presidents' Day), so we're home from school and we're using the time to get caught up on lots of various chores, grocery shopping, laundry, etc., in addition to recovering from a wonderful Saturday night! One we'll always have memories about.

Romantic Dinner, Some Red Things, & Sex Role Play

Since we spent Valentine's Day with two of our very special friends, Matty wanted to do something really special for just the two of us. He asked me out on a date (I love that we still go out on dates). He made reservations for dinner at one of the fancy-schmancy hotel restaurants in downtown Boston for Saturday night.

It's one of those hotels where you have to wear a suit to get within 50 yards of the hotel entrance, and it's where the President and celebrities often stay when they're in Boston overnight. The restaurant obviously has a dress code so Matty has to leave his sneakers and Red Sox cap at home, which he's (reluctantly) agreed to do!

And we just found out that our friends, Mark and John, want to contribute to this slightly-delayed Valentine's Day celebration! They both chipped in and arranged for us to have a stretch limo arrive at our house to take us to the hotel restaurant and return us home! Can you believe that?

When I was thinking about dressing up for the evening, I thought it would be cute for both of us to wear red ties, or ties that had red as the dominant color. You know, since this was our special Valentine's Day celebration. Matty thought it would be a little over the top and said his Red Sox cap had red in it, and why couldn't he wear that instead. I was not amused, though he was amused that I was not amused!

He agreed, of course, to leave the baseball cap at home and called his brother to borrow a tie that has some red in it. I was going to pick up a solid red tie for myself, but then K.Z. Snow left a comment on yesterday's post and suggested a bow tie. Well, I've never worn a bow tie before, but I love the idea. So guess what, K.Z.? I'm getting a red bow tie to wear! But I'll have on more clothes than this dude--------->

I also wanted both of us to wear a small red rose boutonniere, which I'm still trying to talk Matty into. I mean, this is a special occasion and I like the idea of a red rose, which is a universal symbol of love. Even more than a red tie, red bow tie, or Red Sox cap! Right?

So Matty came up with the idea of buying just me a red rose boutonniere to wear and said it would be his private and secret way of "marking" me as his.

I'm still thinking about this, but there's something incredibly sexy and hot about his wanting me "marked" as belonging to him. Silly, maybe, but it's kind of a hot, sexy idea that gets me turned on.

It would be something just the two of us would know about, and I guess I'd be sitting there feeling all special. And it was Matty's idea. I figure since I came up with the idea of wearing red ties, he could get to pick how he wanted to "mark" me as belonging to him.

So here's where we'd like your help and suggestions. When we get home from dinner, we want to have some kind of hot erotic sexual role play. Sometimes we like to think up different role plays when we have sex. It's incredibly sexy to step out of our usual ways of making love and come up with some different sexual "scenes" to add a little spice to things. We've had some of our hottest sex when we role played different scenarios.

You can only imagine what we did for Halloween. You might remember I played Little Red Riding Hood (hmmm, there's that color "red" again!), and Matty played the Big Bad Wolf, all growly and full of animal passion! Whew!

We want to think of something really different this Saturday night and we want to use some of the themes we're discussing here. For example, Matty gets to pretend he's a Red Sox baseball player (where he gets to finally wear his baseball cap) and I could be the Bat Boy. He's always said he likes my "bat and balls," so that might work!

Or maybe we could go a little slutty and pretend we're still in that fancy hotel where we had dinner. He could again pretend to be some famous baseball player, or a porn star visiting Boston, and he could call for room service, and moi could arrive bringing him some delicious "dessert" from the kitchen (and since I'm planning on being a chef, that might be fun for me). Or he could call for a Rent Boy (moi) or I could be the hotel "Special Services Erotic Masseuse." Get the idea?

So, what do you think? Help us with ideas for some really different sexual role plays that may not be what you would call "standard" ones. All the erotic trappings you can think of thrown in. Or even something simple that would be erotically high-charged.

We need your help, and hope you have a little fun coming up with some ideas. You can contribute one idea, or as many as you like. We might even have a little fun picking and choosing from different ones!

And we might even tell you next week what we did, if you ask nicely!

A Special Night

Matty and I had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine's Day with our two very special friends, Mark and John. It was fun cooking dinner for them and seeing them feel cared for. They deserve a much better life than they got growing up.

One way I have of showing my love is through my cooking. I've mentioned before that I plan to go to culinary school, but I want that basic college degree first. I think about college being about all these different "meal courses" and culinary school as being the "dessert" waiting for me at the end.

Matty said he wanted me to show you the menu I prepared last night, so if you'll allow me this little bit of bragging, here's what I made:

Your basic simple tossed salad.
French onion soup.
Pineapple and Soy-Glazed Salmon.
Ricotta mashed potatoes
Green beans with cherry tomatoes.
Sweet baby carrots.
Chocolate covered strawberries.

Everybody said they thought it turned out well, but for me the best part was the planning, the cooking, and then seeing everybody enjoy it. I had some candles on the table, the lighting was dimmed and we had some really nice, relaxing music in the background.

The conversation we had was also very special. Mark and John caught us up on how things are going with them and we also did some joking around about how we want to be the first to know when they set a wedding date. I think that sorta made them blush since they've only been dating since Thanksgiving. Matty did make them promise that both of us could be their Best Men if it ever happened.

Stay tuned for news about the special celebration Matty has planned for the two of us. We both wanted to share Valentine's Day with our two friends, but Matty asked me out this weekend for something really, really special. Just the two of us. All I can say right now is that it involves a red tie and a red rose. I'll probably post about it tomorrow. Hope everyone had a nice day yesterday.

Valentine's Day: To Mark & John, Our Special Friends

Happy Valentine's Day
to
Mark & John
Two Very Special Friends

We wanted to do something a little different to celebrate Valentine's Day this year.

You may remember from something we wrote around Thanksgiving that we invited 2 very dear friends of ours to spend the holiday with us.

I invited my friend Mark and Brad invited his friend John. Neither had met each other before that day.

Mark had been kicked out of his parent's house when he was 16 when he told his parents he was gay. He's also dated a few guys in the past who treated him badly and is understandably careful about how much he opens himself up to people.

John's parents have always been heavy drinkers and chaos was the norm in his family. He also had a pretty strained relationship since coming out as gay.

They had never met each other before and since neither of them had any plans for Thanksgiving, we invited them over here.

Well, they seemed to immediately hit it off with each other and shortly began dating. They've been together ever since.

It makes us feel so good to see them happy and they remind the two of us how precious love is. They're learning how to open up to each other after coming from families where that could be dangerous.

And the most precious gift they've given us is their trust when they ask our advice on how to deal with different issues that come up for them sometimes.

So on this Valentine's Day, we invited them over for dinner tonight and we're going to be treated by something delicious from Chef Bradley's kitchen.

So, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, Mark & John. We want to celebrate your love today and thank you for the gift of your friendship.

Hope everyone enjoys the day, whether you're spending it with the one you love or with people you care about and who care about you.

Video: 20 Things We Love About Each Other

No, this is not us.

There's something kinda sweet and adorable about these two guys we found on YouTube. They're talking off the top of their head about 20 things they love about each other. With Valentine's Day almost here, we thought you might enjoy it. The guy in the black shirt is our favorite. And he has a beautiful smile.
